2011 Highlights
Thank you to all who returned this year after a 1 year hiatus. Jordan would have graduated high school in 2010,
so that was a very difficult year...too difficult to plan such a large event. Our faithful supporters and new supporters
joined us with great enthusiasm and helped us raise $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH! Thank you so much
for such an uplifting and enjoyable day!

2008 Highlights
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's event!
A total of $15,000 was raised for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH! Hot
air balloon rides, a bouncy house, live music by the local family-friendly band Intolerance, balloon animals and face painting,
ice cream, lots of good food, fun & games and of course, the amazing raffle baskets, were some of the highlights of this
year's race. Runners, walkers, donors, volunteers and sponsors, we appreciate each and
every one of you! So do the grateful families who benefit from a Wish because of our fundraising event. In an email from the Director of Volunteerism and Events at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH to the Jordans
Walk volunteer staff, the many successes of this special event were made transparent:
"I wanted to pass along my sincere thanks. It was quite a sight to
see the community come together to make this event a wonderful success. It was very apparent the special day you all have
created for Brookline and so many surrounding communities. I have been truly impressed since my first meeting with this
group, seeing the passion and drive they have to make this a flagship event for the state of New Hampshire. From the big binders
to maps of the event site and unique knowledge that the transfer station in town is where everything happens I knew I was
in for something special. Of course on the day of the event I learned that special was an understatement.
The outpouring support of the local community was amazing. There were boy scouts lending a hand with set-up and even
a local neighbor donating extra tents and some wisdom for the event - telling them all they needed now was "a sledgehammer
and the desire". Oh right and maybe some stakes :) ...which the neighbor's son soon took the time to deliver to the
site. Families along the route sat in their yards and driveways to cheer along runners and walkers, local businesses
and the fire station dedicated their signs, staff, and even vehicles to support Jordan's Walk, the local pupils and teachers
spent countless hours creating wonderful baskets to create excitement and raise funds for Jordan's Walk for Wishes and Dash
for Dreams... the list could go on forever, from electricians to budding rock stars it seemed everyone got together this Saturday
in support of this wonderful cause. What a wonderful day, I feel so very fortunate that I was able to experience just a glimpse
of such an amazing event and met so many wonderful people. Please know that this event and all of your efforts will continue to impact the lives throughout the year and
beyond. With your gracious donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire, you continue to bring immeasurable hope,
strength, and joy to children and families throughout the state. In the past two years we have been able to grant 158 Wishes
and your fundraising efforts have made those dreams a reality. My deepest gratitude to all of you involved. I look forward
to meeting with you all again soon. Best Wishes!"

2007 Highlights

The Coffey family formally presented the Make-A-Wish Foundation of
New Hampshire Board of Directors with a $23,000 check, and received plaques commemorating the three children who benefited
from the gift. The donation fulfilled Marc's Wish to visit Greece with his family, Ethan's Wish to attend the 2007 Comic Convention,
and Samantha's Wish to cruise the Bahamas. How good it feels to bring joy to these children. Thank you so much for helping
us bring hope, strength and joy into the lives of NH children suffering from life threatening medical conditions. Jordan would
be so pleased.

Bright blue skies and hundreds of participants turned out for
our second annual event. Runners and walkers of all ages enjoyed the warm weather and scenic views of Brookline as they made
their way along the race and walking course. Participants really enjoyed the new course this year, noting that it was not
as hilly as last year's course and it conveniently started and finished at the same location.
After the race and walk the participants and their families enjoyed entertainment, massages, carnival games
and food. In addition to the entertainment and games, Miss New Hampshire Rachel Barker met the participants and their families.
Also, one-of-a-kind gift baskets were raffled off after the race. The baskets had been prepared and donated by the students
of the Hollis Brookline Middle School and area businesses.
